Mission Viejo Lake
Lisa took me and the kids to mission viejo lake. They had a great time. It would have made mom very nervous. We could tell the lifeguard was getting a little nervous, but it really sullidified it when he came and stood right in front of us. We were grateful, 5 kids 4 and under was not easy at the lake.
K
yle got so deep one time, I had to run after him, which I am sure was not a pretty site. And who would know that Jake and Mark could swim so good. And you would think that Lucy would like to stay where she could play in the sand, but she didn't . She loved to be neck deep, so when she tried to stand up her whole body would go under. .
The going home was not that bad because they had these cool little caring buckets that could go from the sand to the parking lot. I don't know how I would have done it without. And Lisa put her kids in the car all sandy, I could hardley believe it.
Fun at the park
Just a cute picture of Jake, Kyle, Sam, Joe, and Lucy. We tried to get them to smile, but as you can see we were not very successful.
Camping
Well over the 24th of July we took our new camper camping up Ceder Mountain. It was a lot of fun, but a lot of work. On the way up there was a terrable rain storm. The road is pretty narrow, and there were signs posted all over that said, watch for falling rocks. I always thought those signs were silly...... until we were HIT BY ONE. Yea, a huge rock came tumbling down the mountain and hit Nate's truck right on the top and left a huge dent. We are pretty lucky though that it didn't go through the window.
The kids got pretty dirty, but they had a lot of fun. We didn't catch any fish, but there was a nice old man there who let Jake reel one in.
It was not as relaxing as we wanted it to be!!!
