Jake and his new skill
Jake was very excited. We have been trying to get him to want to ride his dirt bike for a while now, and no go. The other day Nate asked him if he wanted to work on his bike and he said he did, and then he wanted to ride it. He took to it right away. We can hardly get him off now. And of course there is Kyle who needed no encouragement from the very beginning. I just feel bad he is too little to ride.

No Race Day
I am sure you can see the clouds in the back. Everyone was very dissapointed, although Nate did say it was bitter SWEET. I am not sure what that means. Maybe it was that he had not trained one day in 8 years and then decided the day before the race that he was going to do it, and went out and bought himself a suit and all.
They were almost in the water when Lisa and I decided to make a break for the car anticipating the horrible rain that was approaching. Jake was shading Lucy from the rain

And then the rain came and the boys came running back from the water to the car. Lucky for Lisa and I, we parked right if the first spot. I would have to say that Steve was the most disapointed, I think Lisa even got it on video, you will have to ask her about it. I won't lie, I was not sad, I was sure that Nate was going to drown, as I am sure we all know HE CANT SWIM.
Well, we got to hang out and Jake and Kyle just loved playing with Mark.
