Jakes first time

video

Here is a quick video of Jake's first time getting up with Nate. Next time we are going to let him try it by himself. Nate likes this technique for teaching little kids.

Jake Flying

This is Nate's favorite video of Jake running off the dock that I couldn't get to post earlier. He loves the commitment to the jump. He was copping the guys and the way that they were jumping that is why he goes in like a side action way

4th Fun

We went to Delta for the 4th of course. The kids loved it. I made them wear there jackets the whole time because it gets deep really fast. Jake and Kyle finally understood how to use a lifejacket. They would just float out in the water for ever. Lucy just enjoyed playing in the sand, and she didn't even eat it, I was so happy.

Of course they loved making sand castles, and destroying them.

Next, there was jumping off the dock. This was Nate's favorite video of Jake. He loves his commitment. Well, I can't get it to post, but when I do you will see, it is pretty cute.

So, then we went out on the boat. It was Uncle Mike's boat. He is always good to let everyone go on his boat, and of course because it was Delta and it was the day before the 4th, there was nobody on the lake. So Nate decided that it was a good time for Jake to learn how to water ski, with his help of course. Jake was very excited, and really wanted to learn, which I won't lie, kind of surprised me. Nate was a little bit sore after this

Pretty sad day

Well, we had a sad day yesterday. Kyle's boy cat Tina died. Well, I backed over the cat by accident. It must have been hiding under my tire. Yea, I felt pretty bad. Nate dug a hole and let the boys help burry him. Jake took it pretty hard, it took a while to get him to go to sleep. It took Kyle a while to understand that Tina was not going to feel better, then he kept waking up every couple of hours crying "I want Tina back". yea it was very sad. I won't lie, I was a little sad too, Tina was a good cat to the kids.
